Fargo Season 3 Set After Season 1; Showrunner Teases Plot Connections
Talking to EW, showrunner Noah Hawley has revealed a little bit of his plan for season three, and it involves another time-leap. The show will move forward again, only this time it will be set “A couple of years after season one.” Of course, this opens up the potential for characters from the first season to return (those few that survived, anyhow) as well as older versions of season two characters to appear. When asked about the possibility of this happening though, Hawley wasn’t giving too much away, simply saying that’s “potentially” what could happen.
One thing that will happen again is the connection between the seasons. Hawley confirmed that fans will once again be able to watch the show and try and work out exactly what those connections are:
“There are going to be connections, the way the first year was connected to the movie and the second year was connected to the first, but I think part of the fun is figuring that stuff out and I wouldn’t want to take that away from anybody. There will be definitely things that connect to something in our story.”
“The idea of the ‘true story’ is it always has to be at least a few years ago, because the idea is we finally know what really happened and it took time – because the book doesn’t come out until five or six years after.”
Que haya Fargo para rato!!!
