Marvel’s ‘A.K.A. Jessica Jones’ Netflix Series Begins Filming; First Set Images
A.K.A. Jessica Jones is the next show in line after Daredevil, and will likely arrive on Netflix later this year. Previously there has been talk of A.K.A. Jessica Jones possibly not being released until 2016, but considering the fact that filming has now begun it’s pretty safe to assume that we’ll get to see Krysten Ritter in action as the superpowered private investigator sooner rather than later.
A.K.A Jessica Jones will also star Carrie-Anne Moss as a character called Harper, who is a woman in a position of authority who could either be an ally or a roadblock for Jessica in her new career. Mike Colter plays Luke Cage, who will first appear on A.K.A. Jessica Jones before starring in his own show, and Rachael Taylor will play Jessica’s friend Trish “Patsy” Walker. On the villain side of things there’s David Tennant, who will play Zebediah Kilgrave A.K.A. Purple Man.
